Never settle for good enough.

Setting bloggers up for success (style guide)

Pacific Legal Foundation needed a style guide that communicated the requirements of the Digital Strategy team to blog contributors, many of whom were lawyers unused to working with digital content.

The goal of the guide was to help writers create posts that required minimal editing from Digital Strategy Team. Rather than try to lay out the mechanics of grammar and style, this guide needed to set writers up for success even before they chose their topic.

The guide takes into account the unique processes already in place at Pacific Legal Foundation, as well as the writers’ background in law rather than digital writing. I made sure to weave mentions of PLF’s brand into the guide to reinforce what PLF already is as well as what it is trying to become.

See page 1 of the style guide.
